WHAT IS THE IAOS Regina CONVERTS COMMITTEE?

The IAOS Regina Converts Committee is an initiative led by the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan (IAOS) for the wellbeing of new Muslims — brothers and sisters who have embraced Islam. It is a committee run by converts, for converts, built upon compassion, mentorship, and education.

WHAT IS THE GOAL?

The goal of the IAOS Regina Converts Committee is to support, educate, and integrate new Muslims into our community. It aims to help them navigate their new identity, grow in faith, and feel confident as valued members of the Muslim ummah.

WHY DO WE NEED THIS INITIATIVE?

Embracing Islam is a beautiful yet life-changing journey. New Muslims often face challenges related to lifestyle adjustments, family dynamics, and finding community support. The IAOS Regina Converts Committee provides a safe, understanding environment that helps them remain steadfast and spiritually strong — connected not only to fellow converts but to the broader Muslim community as well.
