IAOS Media Release – Quebec Incident

The Islamic Association of Saskatchewan – Regina is shocked and grieved at the horrific killing of worshipers on Sunday during evening prayer at the lslamic Cultural Centre of Quebec in Quebec City.

As we pray for those who have lost their lives, the injured and their loved ones, we ask everyone to stand against any kind of violence and terrorism. Let us stand united to prove once again that Canada is a peaceful country with values of tolerance, openness, diversity and

freedom of religion.

Muslims in Regina are expressing our gratitude for the support and solidarity we have received from our fellow Canadians.

Note:

lslamic Relief Canada is collecting funds for the families and victims of the Quebec shooting, we encourage everyone to donate. So far, they have collected near about $105,493 out of $150,000 goal. (islamicreliefcanada.org)
