Islamic Awareness Week – UofR

The University of Regina Muslim Students Association invites you and your family to attend our annual Islamic Awareness Week (IAW).

Islam Awareness Week is a week-long event which consists of informative lectures by five renown, contemporary scholars every evening from January 20th to January 24th. This year’s theme is “Radical Islamic Honesty”. Under the current political climate and age of misinformation, it is important to provide accurate sources of knowledge to the public in order for them to develop a true understanding of the religion of Islam.

We hope that you will invite your friends, neighbours, and co-workers to IAW – this is your best opportunity to give dawah in Regina! The speakers here are well versed in dealing with all kinds of questions from Non-Muslims, so please do your part and try to bring Non-Muslims to the events.

Muslims make up a significant portion of Regina’s population, and it is our responsibility to provide Non-Muslim members of our communities a genuine perspective on Islam to build bridges and encourage cooperation.

Please see the UR MSA facebook page for more details!
