Bi-Weekly New Mosque Update from Project Team – May 8, 2025
Alhamdolillah, the roofing work has been completed today. The New Mosque now has a brand-new roof. See pictures.
The next step in the project is the placement of the heating and cooling Rooftop Units on the rooftop. The Project Team has also been informed by the mechanical work Contractor that the Rooftop units will be placed in the next two weeks. In sha Allah.
The Project Team’s next focus is finding suitable contractors for windows and doors. The Project Team has conducted an analysis and evaluation of potential contractors who have provided bids. The analysis has been presented to the IAOS Board. The Project team is waiting for direction from the IAOS Board. The project team will place an order for windows and doors as soon as the Board approves a contractor.
Quotations have also been obtained from potential contractors for stucco work on the outside walls of the new Mosque. The Project Team will make a recommendation on a suitable contractor to the Board very soon In sha Allah. Quotations for other upcoming components are also being obtained.
