Muslim-Christian Dialogue

This 4-evening series is directed to all Christians as an opportunity to learn more about our Muslim neighbours. Each evening will consist of a panel presentation with Christian and Muslim speakers, followed by a time of discussion. The series is designed to address stereotypes about Islam and establish a basis for further dialogue.

  • Muslims & Christians: Should we even be talking (and listening) to each other
    Monday, October 28 from 7 to 9 pm
    at Luther College, University of Regina, Speakers: Dr. Brenda Anderson (Luther College), Imam Mohamed Masloh (Islamic Association of Saskatchewan, Regina), and Dr. Sami Helewa, SJ (President of Campion College)
  • Muslims & Christians: On peace and persecution
    Monday, November 4 from 7 to 9 pm
    at Campion College, University of Regina, Speaker: Dr. Franz Volker Greifenhagen (Luther College)
  • Muslims & Christians: Living together
    Monday, November 18 from 7 to 9 pm
    at TBA, Speakers: Zarqa Nawaz (Little Mosque on the Prairie) and Erin Reid (Centre for Civic Religious Literacy)
  • Muslims & Christians: A Common Word
    Monday, November 25 from 7 to 9 pm
    at Regina Huda School, 40 Sheppard Street, Regina, Speakers: Archbishop Don Bolen (Archdiocese of Regina) and Shahina Siddiqui (Islamic Social Services Association, Winnipeg)
