Zakat al-Fitr is a charity given to the poor at the end of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. It is equal to the price of one meal, which in this year 2020 is estimated at $10, given on behalf of every member of the family before Eid-ul-Fitr Salah.

To ensure timely distribution of the Zakat-al-Fitr this Ramadan, the IAOS requests all the community members to pay their Zakat-al-Fitr by Saturday, May 16th, 2020.

You can pay online through the IAOS website. Alternatively, you can visit the IAOS mosque to drop off Zakat-al-Fitr on Sunday, May 10, 2020, between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM or Wednesday, May 13, 2020, between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM
