New COVID-19 Measures

Assalam-u-Alaikum

A confirmed case of COVID-19 at another Musallah (not the South Masjid) has come to the attention of the IAOS Board. This individual was present during Eid prayer at the Musallah.

The IAOS’s commitment to protecting the health and safety of the community is our number one concern. Accordingly, because of the confirmed COVID-19 case in one of the other Musallahs, the Board has made the decision, out of an abundance of caution, to reduce the the Jummah prayer to one prayer per day until further notice. This is a temporary measure taken by the IAOS. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and promptly advise the community of any further changes.

If you have attended any of the Musallahs in Regina, we ask that you please do not attend the South Masjid for the next 14 days and to closely monitor your health. If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, please self-isolate and speak with a healthcare professional.

Please regularly check our website where you will be able to find the latest updates and announcements.

May Allah SWT protects those that protect themselves and others, ameen.

We are thankful for your understanding and extend our sincerest gratitude for everyone’s continued patience and support through these difficult times.

Jazakallah Khair
IAOS Board
