Changes to Ramadan Date Selection Method 

On October 6, 2019, the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) for the IAOS was held at the University of Regina.  The methods to use for selecting the start of Ramadan Eid Al- Fitr dates were reviewed.

The members in good standing present at the AGM voted to CHANGE methodology, starting in 2020, the IAOS will follow the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) dates for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.
